Maharashtra.The assembly
constituency of Khed Alandi which belongs to Shirur parliamentary constituency is
represented by NCP
(Nationalist Congress Party) since 1999. Dilip Dattatray Mohite won the 2009 assembly
elections for the
second consecutive time by defeating Ashok Shripati Khandebharad of SHS (Shiv Sena) with a
huge margin.
Mohite bagged 64726 votes as against Khandebharad's 43934 votes.
