Arkakong assembly constituency is in the Mokokchung district of Nagaland State. There are 12,132 voters in the constituency of which 10,363 voters voted in the last election making the voting to around 85.4%. The Demographic Bifurcation of the constituency is 95.97% Christians, 3.2% Hindus and 0.73% Muslims.

Shri Imnatiba candidate belonging to National People's Party won the seat in last election defeating Shri Nuklutoshi of Naga Peoples Front by 793 Votes.
