Shimoga Rural (Karnataka) Assembly Constituency Election Result 2023

Shimoga rural is the assembly constituency of Shimoga district and is under the Central Karnataka region of Karnataka state. Shimoga Rural constituency election results will be known once the Election Commission shall announce the Karnataka election results of 2023. Shimoga Rural constituency Vidhan Sabha 2023 results shall be awaited once the elections are held in the state of Karnataka. This seat has a total of 2,07,074 voters in the assembly constituency, 1,03,626 are male and 1,03,409 are female. In Shimoga district there are 84.41% of Hindus, 13.39% of Muslims and 1.51% of Christians. According to the 2011 census, there are 1,84,674 people in the rural Shimoga of which 93,244 are male and 91,430 are female.

In the 2018 State Assembly elections K.B. Ashok Naik of Bharatiya Janata Party, BJP won the elections.
