  • According to the sources, during his visit to Nepal, Modi is expected to announce financial support for the development projects in Nepal.
  • PM said that he supports Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI). The authority is in the process of giving Aadhaar cards to Indian citizens.
  • As per the reports, the newly-formed government is likely to support DBT (Direct Benefit Transfer) scheme started by UPA government. The scheme helps the needy people of the society.
  • Narendra Modi today paid tribute to Syama Prasad Mookerjee. He was the one who started Bharatiya Jana Sangh.
  • William Hague and George Osborne, British ministers are likely to meet the PM and External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj tomorrow.
