Here are the highlights for Day 36 of Modi government

  • Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Doctor's Day today praised the efforts of doctors in creating a 'healthy India'.
  • French Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius today called Narendra Modi. Fabius also conveyed President Francois Hollande invitation to Modi to visit France.
  • Vice President Hamid Ansari said that China is keen to make personal-level contacts the new government in India.
  • Environment Minister Prakash Javadekar in a meeting with Daniel A Reifsnyder, assistant secretary for environment & leader of delegation of USA to UNEA, Nairobi took up the issue of the US' denial of visa to PM Narendra Modi since 2005.
