Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Candidates List

AAP Manifetso 2015
The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) appears to be the most prepared and aggressively campaigning party of all. The party had deployed its troops in all the 70 assembly constituencies even when no dates in connection with the elections were announced.

The Chief Ministerial candidate of the party is none other than the AAP supremo and the former CM of Delhi - Arvind Kejriwal. He is again contesting the same seat of New Delhi, as he did the last time and won it. Some of the other eminent faces from the party are Manish Sisodia, Somnath Bharti and Rakhi Bidlan contesting Patparganj, Malviya Nagar and Mangol Puri seats respectively.

Arvind Kejriwal's Delhi Cabinet

AAP's CM Candidate

AAP's chief ministerial candidate is by far the most recognised and the most celebrated face of the party. He is not the founder of the party. A former IRS (Indian Revenue Services) officer, Kejriwal functioned as Delhi CM for 49 days. He resigned from the post over his failure to get the 'Jan Lokpal Bill' passed in February 2014. Though he had a short-lived stint, Kejriwal had impressed and won over Delhiites. He hopes to do even better this time, but it is not going to be any easy task for him.
