Sardhana is constituency No. 44 of Uttar Pradesh legislative assembly.t is situated in Meerut district and comes under the Muzaffarnagar Lok Sabha constituency. It is an open constituency.

According to data with the Election Commission of India, Sardhana has 2,96,297 registered voters. It has 1,63,141 male and 1,33,145 female registered voters and 11 voters in Others category.

The BJP won this constituency by 12,274 votes in the 2012 Assembly elections. Sangeet Som, the BJP's winning candidate, got 62,438 votes. The nearest contender was Hazi Mohammad Yaqub of RLD who got 50,164 votes. The voter turnout was a good 72.46 %.
