About Kanth Assembly Constituency

Kanth is constituency No. 25 of Uttar Pradesh legislative assembly. It is situated in Moradabad district and comes under Moradabad Lok Sabha constituency. It is an open constituency.

According to data with the Election Commission of India, Kanth has 3,02,267 registered voters. It comprises 1,66,877 male and 1,35,383 female registered voters.

In the 2012 Assembly elections, the Peace Party won this constituency by a narrow margin of 1,534 votes. Aneesurrehman, the winning candidate, got 37,092 votes. Rizwan Ahmad Khan of BSP, the nearest contender, got 35,558 votes. The voter turnout was 66.41 %.
