About Budhana Assembly Constituency

Budhana is constituency No. 11 of Uttar Pradesh legislative assembly. It is situated in Muzaffarnagar district and comes under Muzaffarnagar Lok Sabha constituency. It is an open constituency.

According to data with the Election Commission of India, Budhana has 3,30,066 registered voters. It comprises 1,83,592 male and 1,46,472 female registered voters.

In the 2012 Assembly elections, the Samajwadi Party (SP) won this constituency by 10,588 votes. Nawazish Alam Khan, the winning candidate, bagged 68,210 votes. The nearest contender was Rajpal Singh Baliya of Rashtriya Lok Dal (RLD) who got 57,622 votes. The voter turnout was 58.30 %.
