Ramnagar assembly constituency is in the West Tripura district of Tripura State. There are 43,659 voters in the constituency of which 38,580 voters voted in the last election making the voting to around 88.37%. Surajit Datta candidate belonging to BJP won the seat in last election defeating Ratan Das of Communist Party of India (Marxist) by 4,855 Votes.
