Tapi assembly constituency is in the Mon district of Nagaland State. There are 12,322 voters in the constituency of which 11,249 voters voted in the last election making the voting to around 91.29%. The Demographic Bifurcation of the constituency is 70% Hindus, 15%Muslims, 15% Others. Noke candidate belonging to Nationalist Democratic Progressive Party won the seat in last election defeating N Aphoa Konyak of Janata Dal (United) by 1,237 Votes.
