Pughoboto assembly constituency is in the Zunheboto district of Nagaland State. There are 13,416 voters in the constituency of which 12,519 voters voted in the last election making the voting to around 93.3%. The Demographic Bifurcation of the constituency is 98% Christians, 0.58% Hindus and 0.42% Muslims.

Y Vikheho Swu candidate belonging to Naga Peoples Front won the seat in last election defeating Joshua Sumi of Congress by 2,286 Votes.
