Peren assembly constituency is in the Peren district of Nagaland State. There are 29,168 voters in the constituency of which 22,809 voters voted in the last election making the voting to around 78.2%. The Demographic Bifurcation of the constituency is 90.47% Christians, 4.28% Hindus and 1.94% Muslims.
Taditui Rangkau Zeliang candidate belonging to Naga Peoples Front won the seat in last election defeating Iherie Ndang of Nationalist Democratic Progressive Party by 5,432 Votes.
