Impur assembly constituency is in the Mokokchung district of Nagaland State. There are 10,178 voters in the constituency of which 9,669 voters voted in the last election making the voting to around 94.9%. The Demographic Bifurcation of the constituency is 87.93% Christians, 8.75% Hindus and 2.47% Muslims.

Zhaleo Rio candidate belonging to Nationalist Democratic Progressive Party won the seat in last election defeating Dr Kevingulie Khro of Naga Peoples Front by 4,916 Votes.
