Dimapur-III assembly constituency is in the Dimapur district of Nagaland State. There are 33,223 voters in the constituency of which 26,958 voters voted in the last election making the voting to around 81.14%. The Demographic Bifurcation of the constituency is 61.84% Christians, 28.75% Hindus and 8.24% Muslims.

Azheto Zhimomi candidate belonging to Naga Peoples Front won the seat in last election defeating Tokheho of Nationalist Democratic Progressive Party by 2,138 Votes.
