There are 32,157 voters in the constituency of which 27,876 voters voted in the last election making the voting to around 86.69%. The Demographic Bifurcation of the constituency is 88.67% Christians, 8.27% Hindus and 1.6% others. Jason Sawkmie Mawlong candidate belonging to People's Democratic Front won the seat in last election defeating Celestine Lyngdoh of Congress party by 70 Votes.
