Resubelpara assembly constituency is in the east Garo Hills district of Meghalaya State. There are 25,967 voters in the constituency of which 22,527 voters voted in the last election making the voting to around 86.75%. The Demographic Bifurcation of the constituency is 83.55% Christians. 11.22% Hindus and 3.41% others. Timothy Shira candidate belonging to National People's Party won the seat in last election defeating Salseng C Marak of Congress party by 1,763 Votes.
