There are 35,222 voters in the constituency of which 31,617 voters voted in the last election making the voting to around 89.76%. The Demographic Bifurcation of the constituency is 98.41% Christians, 0.49% Buddists and 0.41% Muslims.
Macmillan Byrsat candidate belonging to National people's Party won the seat in last election defeating Gabriel Wahlang of Congress by 60 Votes.
