About Perinthalmanna Assembly Constituency
Perinthalmanna is constituency No. 38 of Kerala legislative assembly. This unreserved assembly seat is situated in Malappuram district and comes under the Malappuram Lok Sabha constituency. The Malappuram Lok Sabha constituency was formed after delimitation in 2008.
According to the Election Commission of India, Perinthalmanna assembly constituency has 1,65,042 registered voters. It includes 78,666 male and 86,376 female registered voters.
In the 2011 assembly elections, the Muslim League won this seat by a margin of 9,589 votes. Manjalamkuzhi Ali, the winning Muslim League candidate, got 69,730 votes. CPI(M) nominee Sasikumar was the runner-up with 60,141 votes. The voter turnout was 81.58 %.
