About Manjeshwar Assembly Constituency

Manjeshwar is constituency No. 1 of Kerala legislative assembly. This unreserved constituency is situated in Kasaragod district and is part of the Kasaragod Lok Sabha constituency.


According to the Election Commission of India, the constituency of Manjeshwar has 1,76,817 registered voters. It has 88,748 male and 88,069 female registered voters.

In the 2011 assembly elections, the Manjeshwar seat was won by the Muslim League party. P. B. Abdul Razak, the winning candidate, bagged 49,817 votes. With 43,989 votes, K. Surendran of BJP was the nearest contender. The winning margin was 5,828 votes. The voter turnout was 75.21 %.
