Kuthuparamba is constituency No. 14 of Kerala legislative assembly. It is situated in Kannur district and comes under the Vadakara Lok Sabha constituency. It is an unreserved seat.

According to the Election Commission of India, Kuthuparamba assembly constituency has 1,60,335 registered voters. It comprises 74,506 male and 85,829 female registered voters.

In the 2011 assembly elections, this seat was won by Socialist Janatha Party (SJP) leader K.P. Mohanan. Mohanan secured 57,164 votes and defeated his nearest contender by a slim margin of 3,303 votes. Independent candidate S. A. Puthiya Valappil was the runner-up. The voter turnout was 79.80 %.
