About Idukki Assembly Constituency

Idukki is constituency No. 91 of Kerala legislative assembly. It is situated in Idukki district and comes under the Idukki Lok Sabha constituency. It is an unreserved seat.

According to the Election Commission of India, Idukki assembly constituency has 1,69,984 registered voters. It comprises 85,794 men and 84,190 women.

In the 2011 assembly elections, this seat was won by the KEC(M) party. Roshy Augustine, the winning candidate, got 65,734 votes. With 49,928 votes, C.V. Varghese of CPI(M) was the nearest contender. The winning margin was 15,806. The voter turnout was 70.50 %.
