S Ashwath Narayan Rao Ramdas is the MLA from Krishnaraja assembly constituency. He belong to Bharatiya Janta Party. in 2018 vidhan Sabha elections he defeated M K Somashekar of Congress party by almost 26 thousand votes. He has served as the Minister of State for Medical Education in Karnatka from 2010 to 2013.
