Gopal Poojary. K - Previous MLA from Byndoor (118)

Kalmady Gopala Poojary is a Karnataka Legislative Assembly member from Baindur and the current Chairman of the Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation. S Bangarappa, his political Godfather, introduced him to politics. Gopala Poojary runs for election as a member of the KCP for the first time in 1994, receiving 10436 votes. In the 2018 election, he was defeated. Gopala Poojary is a very senior leader in Udupi and is known as "Badavara Bandu" in his hometown of Byndoor for being a simple politician.
