Dr Ajay Dharam Singh is the MLA from Jewargi assembly constituency. He belongs to Indian National Congress. In 2018 Vidhan Sabha elections he defeated Doddappagowda of Bharatiya janata party by almost 16 thousand votes. He currently holds the position of Deputy leader of opposition in Karnataka Vidhan Sabha from March 2020. he is the son of former Karnataka Chief Minister Shri Dharam Singh. he is also the General Secretary of Youth Congress of Karnataka.
