Gangadaraiah Parameshwara held the office of 7th Deputy Chief Minister of Karnataka from May 2018 to July 2019. For 8 years, till 2018 he served as the President of Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee. Being a senior member of Congress party he has served as Minister in various portfolios in the past governments.
