Chakkere Puttamade Gowda Yogeshwara is a Karnataka-born Indian politician and actor who served as the state's Minister of Tourism, Environment, and Ecology from 21 January 2021 to 26 July 2021. He is a Karnataka Legislative Council member and a former Karnataka Legislative Assembly member representing the Channapatna constituency. He also played lead roles in Kannada films (Sandalwood). His work in Utthara Druvadind Dakshina Druvaku, Badhri, Kambalahalli, Preethi Nee Illade Na Hegirali, and Sainika has been lauded. His most recent role was as a cop in the film Attahasa, which was based on the life of Veerappan. On 22/07/2020, he was nominated as MLC by the BJP.
