Bharatiya Janata Party Candidate List Chhattisgarh



In a meeting, the Central Election Committee of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) announced the names of candidates for the Chhattisgarh assembly elections scheduled for November 12 & November 20, 2018. The prominent leaders of the party, including Narendra Modi, Amit Shah, Sushma Swaraj and L.K. Advani, were present at the meeting.

BJP Manifesto

In a bid to retain power in the state of Chhattisgarh, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) released its manifesto for the upcoming assembly elections. As expected, the manifesto announces highly lucrative perks and subsidies for the poor of the state. Following are the highlights of the manifesto:
  • Rice will be provided at Re. 1 per kg to the poor families.
  • An expected price of Rs. 2,100 per quintal of paddy is promised.
  • First-year college students are to get free laptops and tablets.
  • An IT hub will be established in the state, boosting local employment.
  • Self-Help Groups (SHGs) to get interest-free loans for up to Rs. 2 lakh.
  • Female students in government colleges will get free education.
  • Planned establishment of Chhattisgarh mono rail and metro rail.
