About Duliajan Assembly Constituency

Duliajan is constituency No. 118 of Assam legislative assembly. It is situated in Dibrugarh district and comes under Dibrugarh Lok Sabha constituency. It is an open constituency. According to the Election Commission of India, this constituency has 1,36,759 registered voters. It comprises 69,641 male and 67,118 female registered voters.

The Congress won this seat in the 2011 Assembly elections. Amiya Gogoi, the winning Congress candidate, got 39,511 votes. She beat her nearest contender, Rameswar Teli of BJP, by a margin of 3,336 votes. Rameswar Teli got 36,175 votes. The voter turnout was 68.51 %.
