About Bulandshahr Assembly Constituency

Bulandshahr is constituency No. 65 of Uttar Pradesh legislative assembly. It is situated in Bulandshahr district in
western Uttar Pradesh and comes under the Lok Sabha constituency that goes by the same name. It is an open assembly constituency.

According to data with the Election Commission of India, Bulandshahr has 3,37,612 registered voters. It comprises 1,84,006 male and 1,53,594 female registered voters.

In the 2012 Uttar Pradesh assembly elections, the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) won this constituency by 6,947 votes. Mohd. Aleem Khan, the winning BSP candidate, got 76,646 votes. The nearest contender was Virendra Singh Sirohi of BJP who got 69,699 votes. The voter turnout was 61.08%.
