About Bhadohi Assembly Constituency

Bhadohi is constituency No. 392 of Uttar Pradesh legislative assembly.
It is situated in Sant Ravidas Nagar district in the Purvanchal region of the state. It comes under the Bhadohi Lok Sabha constituency which came into existence following delimitation in 2008. It is an open constituency.

According to data with the Election Commission of India, Bhadohi has 3,80,739 registered voters. It comprises 2,11,810 male and 1,68,897 female registered voters besides 32 voters in the Others category.

In the 2012 Assembly elections, the Samajwadi Party won this constituency by 16,241 votes. Jahid Beg, the winning Samajwadi Party candidate, got 78,698 votes. The nearest contender was Ravindranath Tripathi of Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) who got 62,457 votes. The voter turnout was 54.93 %.
