Bicholim Assembly Constituency

Bicholim is constituency No. 3 of Goa legislative assembly. It is situated in North Goa district and comes under North Goa Lok Sabha constituency. It is an open constituency.

According to data with the Election Commission of India, Bicholim has 23,894 registered voters. It comprises 12,094 male and 11,800 female registered voters.

In the 2011 Assembly elections, independent candidate Naresh Rajaram Sawal won this seat by a margin of 1,799 votes. Sawal got 8,331 votes while his nearest opponent, Rajesh T. Patnekar of Congress, got 6,532. The turnout was 88.04%.
