About Chhatarpur Assembly (Vidhan Sabha) Constituency

Chhatarpur assembly constituency is a part of South Delhi Lok Sabha constituency. It came into existence after the implementation of the recommendations of the Delimitation Commission of India in 2008. Brahm Singh Tanwar of the BJP is the present MLA from the constituency. He defeated Balram Tanwar of INC with a huge margin in the 2013 Delhi assembly elections.
