About Tigaon Assembly (Vidhan Sabha) Constituency

Tigaon is a village in Faridabad district of Haryana. The assembly constituency of Tigaon belongs to Faridabad parliamentary constituency. Krishan Pal of BJP won the 2009 assembly elections and is the present MLA from the constituency. He defeated Lalit Nagar of INC. Pal bagged 39746 votes as against Nagar's 38928 votes. However in May 2014, Pal resigned from the post of MLA. He won Faridabad Lok Sabha seat after defeating Avtar Singh Bhadana of INC. Currently the seat is vacant.
