About Nilokheri Assembly (Vidhan Sabha) Constituency

One of the 90 assembly constituencies, Nilokheri falls under Karnal Lok Sabha constituency. The constituency is reserved for the Scheduled Castes. The town of Nilokheri was established in 1948 for the displaced people from Pakistan. As of 2011 India census,Nilokheri had a population of 2,07,373. The current MLA of Nilokheri is Mamu Ram Gonder. He won the 2009 assembly elections from Nilokheri for the first time.
