About Narnaund Assembly (Vidhan Sabha) Constituency

Narnaund is an emerging city in Hisar district of Haryana. The assembly constituency falls under Hisar parliamentary constituency. As of 2011 India census, Narnaund had a population of 1,40,604. The Narnaund constituency has been an non-Congress seat for past many years. Chaudhary Virender Singh won four consecutive elections and was the MLA from 1977 to 1996. In 2009 assembly elections Saroj Mor of INLD defeated RK Gautam with a huge margin.
