Ganaur, the city in the Sonipat district of Haryana, is a part of Sonipat Lok Sabha constituency. It is located 44 km north of Delhi. The place is also known as Ganaur Mandi because once it was warehouse and a grain market. As of 2011 India census, Ganaur had a population of 2,06,759. Kuldeep Sharma of INC is the present MLA of Ganaur.
