Baroda is a small village in Sonipat district. The assembly constituency of Baroda is a part of Sonipat parliamentary constituency. Sri Krishan of INC won the 2009 assembly elections and is the present MLA from the constituency. He got 56225 votes. He defeated Kapoor Singh Narwal of INLD who received only 30882 votes.
