About Adampur Assembly (Vidhan Sabha) Constituency

One of the 90 assembly constituencies, Adampur falls under Hisar Lok Sabha constituency. It is a part of Hisar district of Haryana. As of 2011 India census, Adampur had a population of 1,46,833. In 2011 bypolls in Haryana, Renuka Bishnoi, wife of Haryana Janhit Congress (HJC) President, Kuldeep Bishnoi, won Adampur seat with a margin of 22,669 votes. She defeated her nearest rival and former MLA Kulbir Singh Beniwal of INC.
