Pashupati Kumar Paras is the Food Processing Industries Minister of India

The Ministry of Food Processing Industries was established in 1988. It works for the policy issues related to the promotion of food processing industries in India. The ministry also work towards creating and increasing employment in rural sector and enable the farmers to make use of the modern technology in processing the food. The ministry is headed by Pashupati Kumar Paras. Earlier, Harsimrat Kaur Badal was heading the ministry.
