Shri Subrat Sahoo is the present Chief Electoral Officer of the state of Chhattisgarh. He is a 1992 batch IAS officer of Chhattisgarh. Subrat was born on 5 July 1968 in Odisha. Subrat Sahoo acquired education from National Institute of Technology Rourkela, jnv sarang, Dhenkanal. Subrat Sahoo has giving his services as Secretary of Department of School Education, Government of Chhattisgarh. He has also served important posts such as District Collector in the Districts: Durg, Dhamtari & Sarguja. His services have also been marked in Tourism Department, Sports Department, Tribal Welfare Department, Social Welfare Department, Women & Child Development Department, Food & Civil Supplies Department & Culture Department, Department of School Education & Literacy. Subrat Sahoo was appointed as the Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) of Chhattisgarh on 13 Jun 2017 by the Election Commission of India.
