About Raniganj Assembly (Vidhan Sabha) Constituency
Raniganj is one of the 243 constituencies of Bihar Legislative Assembly. This assembly constituency is in the Araria district of the state. It is reserved for the candidates coming from Scheduled Castes. Voters of Raniganj elected Achmit Rishidev of JDU in the Bihar Assembly election 2015. He secured 77,717 votes and beat BJP�s Ramji Das Rishidev by a margin of 14,930 votes.
Raniganj is home to 2,83,545 eligible voters. It comprises of 1,49,466 males, 1,34,063 females, and 16 third gender. Raniganj will undergo the process of voting as per the schedule of the Bihar Assembly Election 2020.
