Raghopur is a legislative assembly constituency in the Vaishali district of Bihar. It is a part of the Hajipur Lok Sabha (Vidhan Sabha) constituency of Bihar. Raghopur has an electorate of around 3,17,517 eligible voters, amongst whom 1,73,476 are men and 1,44.040 are women, and 1 third gender.
Tejaswi Pratap Yadav represents this constituency in the Bihar Legislative Assembly. He is the younger son of former Bihar Chief Ministers Rabri Devi and Lalu Yadav. Tejaswi Pratap Yadav won this constituency with 91,236 votes. BJP�s Satish Kumar was contented on the 2nd position in the Bihar Election 2015.
Tejaswi Pratap Yadav was the deputy chief minister from 2015-17. After the fall of the Mahagathbandhan government, he became the leader of the opposition. Notably, Raghopur is a high profile constituency with Lalu Prasad Yadav and Rabri Devi having won from here.
