About Parsa Legislative Assembly (Vidhan Sabha) Constituency

Parsa is a legislative assembly constituency in the state of Bihar. Chandrika Rai of RJD represents Parsa in the state legislative assembly at present. Rai won the seat in the 2015 assembly elections having accounted for 77,211 votes. He beat LJP�s Chhotelal Rai, who got 34,876 votes. Chhotelal Rai was the sitting MLA of Parsa at the time of the Bihar Assembly election 2015.

There are 2,49,874 eligible voters in the Parsa assembly segment. Amongst all the voters of the constituency, there are 1,34,301 men and 1,15,572 women. Parsa is located in Saran district and a part of the Lok Sabha (parliamentary) constituency named Saran of Bihar.
