About Mahua Legislative Assembly (Vidhan Sabha) Constituency
In the Vaishali district of Bihar is located Mahua Vidhan Sabha constituency. It came into existence as a constituency by the 2008 order of delimitation commission. As per the 2015 Bihar Election, there are about 2,65,297 electors in the Mahua constituency.
In the previous Bihar election, RJD�s Tej Pratap Yadav won this constituency. He is the eldest son of former chief ministers Lalu Yadav and Rabri Devi. Tej Pratap Yadav was a cabinet minister in the Bihar government from 2015 to 2017. The runner up for the 2015 Bihar Election was HAM candidate Ravindra Ray. There was a whopping 18% vote difference between the two.
