About Gurua Legislative Assembly (Vidhan Sabha) Constituency
Gurua is a legislative assembly segment in the state of Bihar. It is located in the Gaya district and belongs to the Aurangabad Lok Sabha (parliamentary) constituency of the state. BJP's Rajiv Nandan currently holds the Gurua seat in the state legislative assembly of Bihar, as he won the seat with 56,480 votes in the assembly elections held in 2015. Bindeshwari Prasad Yadav of JDU settled with 49,965 votes as the runner-up.
Gurua is home to about 2,60,281 voters as per the Bihar Assembly election 2015. They consist of 1,38,745 males, 1,21,527 females, and 9 third gender. The upcoming Bihar assembly election 2020 is expected from October to November 2020.
