About Ghosi Legislative Assembly (Vidhan Sabha) Constituency

Ghosi is a legislative assembly constituency in the Jahanabad District of Bihar. It belongs to the Jahanabad Lok Sabha (parliamentary) constituency. Krishan Nandan Prasad Verma of JDU was elected as the MLA from Ghosi in 2015 when he won the seat with a total of 67,248 votes. He defeated Rahul Kumar of HAMS by a margin of 21,625 votes.


There are about 2,44,310 voters in Ghosi as per the Bihar Assembly election 2015. Of them, 57.91 % had chosen to vote in the last election. The next election in Ghosi will take place as per the schedule of the Bihar Assembly election 2020.
