About Bahadurpur Assembly (Vidhan Sabha) Constituency
Bahadurpur is represented in the state legislative assembly of Bihar by Madan Sahni of JD (U), who bagged the seat in the 2010 assembly elections having won 27,320 votes. RJD's Harinandan Yadav ended up as the runner-up with 26,677 votes. The Bahadurpur assembly segment is a part of the Lok Sabha (parliamentary) constituency and district Darbhanga.According to the recommendations of the Delimitation Commission of India, Bahadurpur assembly segment was created in 2008 and comprises Hanuman Nagar and Bahadurpur community development blocks. A total of 2,51,548 people are eligible to cast their votes in the constituency. There are 1,35,232 men and 1,16,313 women electors in Bahadurpur assembly segment of Bihar.
