Issues of Sangam Vihar

The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) had risen to power in Delhi after the 2013 assembly elections. People had trusted the newly formed party to bring about the change it promised. Unfortunately, the promise remains a distant dream for constituencies like Sangam Vihar. The present MLA from the constituency is Dinesh Mohaniya of AAP.

Asia's largest unauthorised colony Sangam Vihar is most concerned about safety of women. The area has become a hub of drug addicts, who are a threat to women and children. Moreover, people have to deal with poor water supply. People get water once a week. Moreover, water is dirty and unhealthy. Authorities have turned a blind eye to the dirt spread all over the area. The people have lost faith in the state machinery.
