About Uchana Kalan Assembly (Vidhan Sabha) Constituency

Uchana Kalan is a city in the Jind district of Haryana. The assembly constituency of Uchana Kalan belongs to the Hisar Lok Sabha constituency. The constituency was the traditional stronghold of senior Congress leader and Haryana Finance Minister Birender Singh who won the 2005 assembly elections. But in the 2009 assembly elections Om Parkash Chautala of INLD defeated Singh.
